Booking software for photo studios
Superspace lets photographers and brands see when your studio is free, book the hours they need and pay in naira before they arrive, with lighting kits and backdrops added at checkout. You run every set, every booking and every payment from one calendar, for a flat monthly fee.
A photo studio sells hours on a set. Most of the work around those hours is not photography: answering “are you free Saturday?”, quoting the rate, checking a transfer screenshot, reminding the client, and chasing the light stand that left with the last crew. For what a studio should charge, see how to price a photo studio in Lagos.
Where the hours get lost
- Every booking starts with a question. Clients cannot see which hours are free, so each booking waits on a reply in your DMs. Slow replies lose shoots to the studio that answered first.
- Short bookings that cost you money. A one-hour booking still needs setup, a reset of the cyc and a clean floor. Without a minimum, your best hours get sold in pieces.
- Extras priced from memory. Lighting kits, backdrops, a makeup station or a styling rack get quoted differently every time, or forgotten on the invoice.
- Gear that walks out. Lights, stands and modifiers go out with a crew and nobody wrote down who has them or when they are due back.
- No-shows on your busiest day. A Saturday slot held on a promise is a Saturday slot you cannot sell when the client goes quiet.
How Superspace runs photo studios
A booking page clients book from
Your Showcase shows each set with photos, capacity, amenities and the hourly rate, with live availability from your own calendar. Put the link in your Instagram bio and reply to enquiries with it. See Set up your Showcase.
Minimum hours and peak rates
Set a minimum and maximum booking length per set, so nobody books 30 minutes of your cyclorama. On Growth and above, a weekend rule can charge a different rate with its own minimum. See Use advanced pricing rules.
Lighting kits and backdrops at checkout
Add each extra once, with its price and how many you have per booking. Clients add them while booking and the price joins the total. See Add-ons and equipment packages.
Gear tracked against the booking
Check equipment out to a booking or rent it on its own, see what is out and what is due back today. See Check out equipment.
Paid before the shoot
Clients pay the full amount in naira as they book, so a held slot is a paid slot. Refunds follow the cancellation policy you set per set, which clients see before they pay.
Walk-ins and phone bookings on the same calendar
Book a client at the front desk or over the phone through Point of Sale, and take payment by payment link or a dedicated bank-transfer account. See Create a POS booking.

In Nigeria
Most Lagos and Abuja studios take bookings on Instagram and WhatsApp and payment by bank transfer. A dedicated account number per booking means the transfer matches itself, instead of you checking alerts against screenshots. See virtual account.
Which plan fits
Growth, ₦15,000 a month. Most studios with a weekend rate or staff on the front desk. No plan takes a commission on bookings. See pricing.
