Booking software for rehearsal and dance studios
Superspace lets bands, choreographers, choirs and fitness instructors see when your rehearsal or dance studio is free, book by the hour and pay in naira as they book. Your own classes stay blocked on the calendar, evenings and weekends can carry their own rate, and every room books from one link.
Rehearsal and dance studios are busy in the evenings and at weekends and quiet in the day. The rooms that do well price those hours differently and keep their own class times out of the booking page.
Where the hours get lost
- Evening rush, empty mornings. Everyone wants 18:00 on a Friday. One flat rate leaves money on the busy hours and does nothing to fill the quiet ones.
- Your classes clash with hires. If your own classes are not on the same calendar, a hire gets booked over your Tuesday session.
- Groups that turn up bigger. A room set up for 10 gets 25 dancers, and the floor and the neighbours pay for it.
- Regulars paid by transfer, matched by hand. A dozen weekly bookings means a dozen transfers to match against chats every week.
How Superspace runs rehearsal and dance studios
Peak rates for busy days
On Growth and above, set a higher rate and minimum on the days that fill first, such as Friday to Sunday. See Use advanced pricing rules.
Your own classes blocked
Block the hours you run classes or keep the room private; they are never offered for hire. See Manage blocked time.
Group size enforced
Set the most people a booking can include for each room, applied online and at the desk. See Set booking rules and guest capacity.
Payments matched to bookings
Online payments sit on the booking they came from, and transfers to a booking's dedicated account match themselves. See payment reconciliation.
Gear for hire
Rent out amps, a drum kit or a sound system with the room or on their own, and see what is due back. See Understand the Equipment module.
Every room from one link
All your rooms sit on one Showcase, so a band or a dance crew compares and books without asking. See Manage multiple spaces.

Common questions
How do I take bookings for a rehearsal studio?
Put each room on a booking page with live availability, an hourly rate and a minimum session, and take payment at booking. Block your own classes on the same calendar so they are never offered for hire.
Can I charge more for evenings and weekends?
On Growth and above, advanced pricing rules set a different hourly rate and minimum on the days you choose, such as Friday to Sunday. Rules apply by day of the week, not by hour.
Can I keep my own dance classes off the booking page?
Yes. Block the hours on your calendar and the room is not offered for hire at those times.
Can bands rent equipment with the room?
Yes. Offer gear as add-ons at checkout, or track it as equipment checked out to a booking or rented on its own, with what is due back today.
