Understand the Equipment module
Equipment is your studio's inventory: cameras, lights, microphones, furniture — anything you own and lend out. It tracks what you have, who has it, and its current condition.
Open your inventory
Select Equipment in the Operations section of the sidebar. The page is called Equipment inventory.
What's on the page
- Summary counts: Total equipment, Available, Checked out and Maintenance.
- Search by name or serial number, and filter by Category and Status.
- Categories to organise your inventory, and Inventory insights for a status overview and export.
- A list or grid view of every item, with its category, status, condition and daily rate.
- Add equipment to add a new item.
Equipment statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | In the studio and ready to use or lend. |
| Checked out | Currently with a customer. |
| Maintenance | Unavailable, for example being repaired. On an item's edit form this is the Unavailable option. |
