Organise equipment into categories
Categories group similar equipment — cameras, lighting, audio, drones — so you can filter your inventory and see which categories you have most of.
Before you begin
- You need permission to manage equipment.
Open Category Management
Go to Equipment and select Categories.
Add a category
- Select the option to add a category. The Add Category dialog opens.
- Enter a Name, for example “Drones”, and optionally a Description.
- Select Create Category.
Edit or delete a category
- To rename a category or change its description, edit it in Edit Category and save.
- To delete a category, it must be empty. If it still contains items, you'll see Cannot delete category containing items. Please reassign items first. Move the items to another category, then delete it.
