Block time on your calendar
Blocking time makes it unavailable for booking without changing your regular operating hours. Use it for one-off or repeating closures.
Before you begin
- You need the permission to block calendar time slots.
Block time
- Go to Calendar and select Block time. You can also select the block button on a day in month view, Block this day in day view, or Block Time in your dashboard's Quick Actions.
- Under Spaces, choose All spaces or tick the spaces to block. All spaces includes inactive and draft spaces in your studio.
- Choose a Start date and End date.
- Leave All day on to cover every bookable hour on the selected dates, or turn it off and choose a Start time and End time.
- To repeat the block, choose Every day or Every week under Repeat, then choose Repeat until. Leave it on Does not repeat for a one-off block.
- Optionally, add a Reason, such as maintenance, a private event or a public holiday.
- Select Block time.
You'll see Availability updated. The blocked time appears shaded on your calendar, and customers can't book it.
