How customers pay
Customers pay when they book. On your Showcase they pay online through Paystack; at the POS you send them a payment link or a bank account to pay into.
On your Showcase
- The customer picks a slot, enters their details and reviews the booking.
- They select Pay with the total and are redirected to Paystack to complete checkout.
- After paying, they return to your Showcase while Superspace confirms the payment — Confirming your payment.
What the customer sees next
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| You're booked! | Payment confirmed and the booking is secured. The customer gets a Confirmation code and a confirmation email. |
| Request sent | Payment received, and the booking is waiting for your approval. The customer is told you have until a set time to accept, that they'll get an email either way, and a full refund if you decline. |
| Payment not completed | The payment didn't go through, so no booking was made. |
| This booking couldn't be held | The booking is no longer active; any payment received is being refunded. |
| Still confirming your payment | Confirmation is taking longer than usual. The customer will get a confirmation email when it clears. |
At the POS
When you create a booking for a customer, you choose Send Payment Link (a checkout link emailed to the customer) or Virtual Account (a dedicated bank account for a bank transfer). See Send a payment link and Take payment by bank transfer.
Payment confirmation
A booking isn't paid until the payment is confirmed. Until then it shows Awaiting payment. When payment is confirmed, the booking moves on to Upcoming, or to Awaiting approval if the space uses booking requests.
