What is a walk-in booking?

Also called: Front-desk booking, Manual booking

A walk-in booking is a booking made in person at the space or over the phone, entered by the owner or staff rather than by the customer online.

Plenty of business still arrives this way: someone at the gate, a regular on the phone, a referral in DMs. The risk is that these bookings never reach the calendar customers see online, which is how double bookings start.

A walk-in booking should end up as the same kind of record as an online one, on the same calendar, with payment tied to it.

How Superspace handles it

In Superspace walk-in and phone bookings go through POS and land on the same calendar as online bookings. Payment is taken with a payment link or a virtual account for a bank transfer.

Common questions

Can I take cash for a walk-in booking in Superspace?

Not for a space booking at the POS. Payment is taken by payment link or bank transfer through Superspace, so every booking has a matched payment.
