Superspace vs a website
A website is good at presenting a space, but on its own it does not show live availability, take payment tied to a booking or handle walk-ins. Superspace gives you a booking page that does, and you can keep your website and link to it.
Many owners build a website expecting it to take bookings, then find it ends in a contact form or “WhatsApp us to book”. Adding real booking means a plugin, a payment integration and an email tool, kept in sync by hand. More on what a booking page does differently.

What a website does well
- Presenting the space and the brand exactly how you want.
- Long-form content: your story, case studies, a blog.
- Ranking in search for your business name.
- Full control over design and layout.
Where it breaks down
- Live availability needs a booking plugin that stays in sync with every other way you take bookings.
- Taking payment needs a payment integration, and tying it to the booking is extra work.
- Your rates, minimums and hours are custom development, and again whenever they change.
- Walk-ins and phone bookings live somewhere else.
- Reminders, cancellations, refunds and customer records need more tools connected to it.
- Its analytics count visitors, not bookings or revenue.
When a website is enough
If you sell by quote, such as a venue that books a few large events a year after site visits, a website with a contact form can be enough. It stops being enough when customers want to book specific hours and pay straight away.
Using them together
Keep your website for your brand and content and put a “Book now” button on it that opens your Superspace Showcase. On Growth and above the Showcase can sit on your own domain or a direct subdomain, so it still feels like your site.
Common questions
Can I add Superspace booking to my existing website?
Yes. Link a “Book now” button on your website to your Superspace Showcase. On Growth and above you can connect your own domain or use a direct subdomain for it.
Do I need a website if I use Superspace?
Not necessarily. Your Showcase has your spaces, photos, rates, availability, testimonials and contact details, which covers what most customers look for before booking.
